Dr. Keya Wiggins-Jackson, Ph.D., CGP, CGT
Licensed Psychologist, Certified Group Psychotherapist, and Certified Gottman Therapist
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my practice. I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida, an educator, and a therapist with many years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults in outpatient settings. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling from Auburn University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University. My clinical background includes work in college counseling centers, community agencies, and residential treatment settings.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am deeply involved in training future mental health professionals. My work as an educator informs my approach to therapy, grounding it in evidence based practice, thoughtful assessment, and a strong commitment to ethical and relational care.
I am particularly drawn to interpersonal and relational work. I believe that humans are fundamentally wired for connection, and that many concerns such as anxiety, depression, and emotional distress are rooted in experiences of disconnection, loneliness, or feeling misunderstood. My work focuses on helping individuals better understand themselves, strengthen self esteem, and build more meaningful and satisfying relationships with others. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a supportive, reflective space where insight, emotional awareness, and lasting change can occur.
